Escape Box: Startup Business Brand Design & Website

Escape Box UK is a new mobile escape games entertainment concept that was new this year to launch in the UK.

Our client needed help getting their new entertainment business off the ground with their Startup Business Branding, which would position them correctly with a professional look and feel so that they could start pitching for business asap.  This included a logo, further brand design, website design and social media setup ready to launch their new business this August.

Due to being a new business, this project was a low budget one, and so, therefore, the website needed the option to be able to be easily managed by the client themselves ongoing if needed and training would be required.

We put together a comprehensive plan of attack to help them with their Startup Business Branding, starting off the project by conducting some market research – reviewing the Escape Games space and potential competition.

This gave us a good background for when it came to the brand design, we already knew who the target market was and how best to design a brand that would sit well with the consumer.  We got to work designing a logo, providing the client with our basic logo design package which included an initial concept design phase complete with colour pallet suggestions, a 3 stage process for further refinements and design adjustments, and then eventually delivering the final logo design with all artwork files ready for them to use on or offline.

As our client wanted to start building brand awareness straight away, our next challenge was to deliver, in super quick time, a holding page that would describe the product/service and provide a point of contact for further enquires.

Once this was up and running, we then worked on setting up social media pages for the new business on FacebookTwitterLinkedIn and Instagram.
These needed to be set up in such a way the user journey felt seamless – ensuring that all correct branding was in place, the tone of voice and content was consistent and all the right links had been used.  A strategy guide on how to best utilise their social media channels complete with best practice and posting schedule (discovered from the preliminary market research) was also presented so that our client felt comfortable with taking on the management of these channels should they wish to do so afterwards.

Finally, we built their 5-page website using the WordPress CMS as our platform of choice as we find it provides a great solution for easy ongoing management which was requested by the client originally who were keen to have the option to update the website themselves ongoing.  To ensure they knew how to do this we provided a face to face training session on how to update their website and create new blogs.
