2. Use local media

Send your press release to your local media or niche outlets too!

Make sure you claim, verify and update your listing.  Local listings have now been transferred into Google+ so check there too!

Find a niche social media site that works well for your business and post tips and other useful information.  Examples are:

  • Travel or hospitality business – Tripadvisor.com forums
  • Photography store – Photo.net or RockTheShotForum.com
