MENINGITIS – MY STORY
Meningitis is a deadly disease that can affect anyone, of any age, at any time. It can kill within hours and those lucky enough to survive can be left with life changing after effects.
I am one of the few lucky survivors after contracting Meningococcal Septicaemia at 18 years old. I thank my lucky stars every day that I was fortunate enough not be have been left with any serious life changing after effects, and feel a great need to give back to the charity that has supported and funded all the research that helped to save my life through raising money for them in any way I can.
So please, help me, help this brilliant charity who help others survive.
