THE BRIEF
Newlyns needed someone who could help them manage their social media marketing activities as well as provide creative design support for the various artwork requirement they have on an ongoing basis. This person would need to get to grips with the business, understand their brand, values and ethos as well as be self-motivated and bring new ideas and strategies to the table.
THE SOLUTION
We kicked things off with a digital marketing review followed by a strategy design based on the findings from the review. This gave us a good insight as what they had previously done/tried and tested as well as help us to understand who their audience was online.
We, of course, took some time to meet and listen with the business owners to talk about who they thought their client base was offline (in-store), what their immediate needs where and where they wanted to take things in the future.
Form this information we built our plan of attack for Newlyns. Then with a plan in place, we were able to advise the client on the best marketing support package we could offer. Initially, this was a purchase of our bulk-buy hours’ packages to see how much time would be required, helping us to gauge what would be needed on a monthly basis.
This time was used to plan their social media schedule, provide artwork services for the flyers and banners required including their Christmas brochure and promotional artwork surrounding this, source print supplier, help with various blogs for the website and also provide copywriting services for their email marketing campaigns.
Quite soon into working with Newlyns, it became apparent that we would also need to help with content creation and photography for their social media channels and website too. Therefore we have spent some time going out on to the farm, as well as in-store, to get photos, find stories, set up and take pictures of their products etc.
We work on a regular monthly retainer basis with Newlyns now, supporting them on all their digital marketing and creative design projects.
